What is the style of art that is on the cover? Is there a certain process that was used in the painting? Is it just all the members of the Revolution and Prince himself? Where are they supposed to be? I think the cover is awesome - so I'd love to know all I can about it. Here is a link to a pic of it.

i'd call the style "pop" or "psychadelia" - do a google search on peter max and you'll see some stuff kinda similar. i think that's the look prince was going for with this album. as for what the process was, it looks to me as if the artist was given specific images - photographs, drawings, etc. - and was told to incorporate those images into the painting. i know prince wanted a clara bow image to be on the cover, and the little dog on the cover was an image of prince's pet puppy in real life.

what is a clara bow image? sorry i don't know! sorry if it is a stupid question. thanks for all the above info though it really helped me!
