Prince and Kim Basinger What did you think when those two hooked up? Honestly.
I remember my dad had a huge crush on her. I saw alot of her movies and I remember at the time thinking she was the most beautiful woman in the world. I wanted to look like her so bad!! I used to crimp my hair just like her's in batman. Anyway I loved Prince and my dad and I used to get into fights about me being able to listen to his music. My dad thought he was werid and vulgar and didn't want his little girl listening to him. So when she was dating Prince he was like "WHY IS SHE WITH THAT VULGAR LITTLE MAN???" When Prince hooked up with Kim I was like  . Seiously I know Prince is hot and everything my gawd he is the sexiest man in the world to me but I was like wow! Kim was like the Marilyn Monroe of the eighties...I couldn't belive he snaged her!!![Edited 7/4/05 0:14am] | |

He also supposedly recorded a whole album with her, which you can just about still find on the outskirts of bootleg land, although the few who have heard it say it's so bad it doesn't sound like Prince was involved with it. She was so far gone that it was ridiculous and I'm sure that it made Spike Lee and every other black person in the audience uncomfortable that this air head blonde was suddenly a spokesperson for the cause of getting proper recognition for "Do The Right Thing" from those Academy stuffed suites. I can't remember what biography I read this in but I think it was Purple Reign but it said that Kim flipped out because she found Prince in bed with another woman and she hightailed it out of Minnesota fast and left her car and was really angry about the whole thing. If that's true all I gotta say is Prince: YOU WERE WITH KIM BASINGER!!  Sometimes I really don't understand that man. | |
