I really want these two albums but I don't want to get ripped off and get a copy or something? What should I look for and how much are they worth? Should I go to ebay or amazon?

There's not really much to look out for.

It doesn't matter whether you get them from eBay or Amazon, as long as the price is right for you.

With concerns to the Black Album, get the official 1994 release, plain black cover, with the sticker 'Prince: The Legendary Black Album' - all over copies (other than the few original 1987 copies) are bootlegs and not worth bothering with - anything that deviates from the plain black cover and official tracklist is a bootleg.

With regards to Crystal Ball, there are several versions, it's upto you which you want:

> 5 CD version (3CD Crystal Ball w/ The Truth & Kamasutra CDs) - This was the 1800 New Funk exclusive version, in the clear round case, with no booklet, this is the most expensive version (the only 5 CD version).

> 4 CD Retail version (as above minus Kamasutra and plus a booklet)

> 4 CD Retail version in 4CD Jewel case - again minus Kamasutra, but has a booklet.

In all honesty, you will not listen to Kamasutra more than once or twice, but if you wanna be complete, the 5CD version is the one to get, otherwise, save yourself a few quid and get the 4CD version.
