Mr. Timothy White uses a Galileo quote to discribe
Sinead O'Connor in his article, "War In Babylon And The Sword Of The Heart." I believe this quote fits Prince much better:

I believe that good philosophers fly alone, like eagles and not in flocks like starlings. It is true that because eagles are rare birds, they are little seen and less heard, while birds that fly like starlings fill the sky with shrieks and cries, and wherever they settle befoul the earth beneath them." -Galileo

And like Mr. White said, "Right now, as shrill starlings fill the air and hide noisily in the trees, let's listen at least for fairness' sake to another philosopher, seldom heard from," since his last Hot 100 Airplay entry:
