big brother australia Hi Guys, this question would be for the Australians on the board, During last nights 27/6/05 screening of Big Brother uncut, they played a Prince song when Hotdogs and Geneva were kissing, now the beat sounded like kiss and i thought it was going to be kiss but it wasnt, the lyrics were different and i have never heard this song..can anyone help..

is the beat a bit different then the normal kiss beat...its the same tempo and melody of the kiss beat just a different hit and snare... "was i the first, was i your every fantasy" | |

The extended portion has lots of extra synths, a phatter beat AND snares and lots of guitar. |

the extended version -although similar- is different enough to be appreciated. it kind of turns into another song after the break. something like the way "thieves in the temple" turns into another song on the extended version. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

Yeah I saw the episode. Dunno what the song was. It had the same music as KISS but different lyrics. It wasn't prince singing was some poonce trying to sound like prince. I think it was meant to sound like KISS to your average viewer as it was put over a kissing scene. Channel 10 probably couldnt afford to play the proper song so they recorded an imitation...
But yeah when i heard the music i got excited 'yeah its kiss!' but then it was some other song with the same music. It wasnt a prince song. the music was kiss though. But you never know, maybe its a song from the top 40... they've all got beats ripped off old hits... | |

Jonty, who was the last person kicked out when the show screened, when this episode was on. I'm in NZ and it's screening a couple of weeks behind maybe I could catch it because I'm kinda curious as well now. They've just been doing the slave/master thing.
