Hi,

Even though Prince just released an piano-album,
I'd like to see a 'Best of Prince'-album with his best songs live on piano and guitar!! 3/4 of an hour of piano and the rest of the cd with on acoustic guitar. And he doesn't have to edit it in the studio... just Prince, a piano/guitar and an audience (Holland?) to sing.

It would really be great to hear a piano-medley with all the songs he's playing on the ONA-tour and just Prince on guitar and vocals...

No need for just the hits, but also songs like:
- sometimes it snows in april
- do u lie?
- the ladder
- free
- how come u don't call me anymore?
- when you were mine
- if I had a harem
- etc. etc.

I think THAT would be the best!!!

And please no remixes from KAJ or Morris Hayes!!!

Peace,
TheKid.

that's funny - i've been trying to put together a BEST OF for a friend - and i had absolutely no idea what and how (which order) i should compile. i think it's almost impossible to cover all aspect so P's music. and only, let's say 15 to 18 songs are far too less. i think the best opportunity is to rip all those albums, singles etc. as mp3 and put them on 2 or 3 cdroms - so everybody can discover the beauty and extraordinance of the work.

by the way: what do you think about another sort of best-of: maybe a boxset with all singles or all albums? deluxe packaging of course - and digitally remastered. maybe in smaller lp-coverart.
and what about rerelasing is old singles from the 80's? hey, madonna did that and what about prince?
