Prince On DVD Compilation

A company out of Anaheim, CA has put out a DVD entitled 'The Best Music Videos on DVD'. It is available at Wal-Mart for $4.88. This compilation features Michael Jackson, P. Diddy, Prince & Whitney Houston videos. The Prince videos on this compilation are, 'Automatic', 'Controversy', 'Gett Off (Housestyle)', 'I Wanna Be Your Lover', 'Let's Pretend We're Married', 'Little Red Corvette', 'Sexuality', and 'Uptown'. The release date is 2005 and the front cover has a picture of Prince from the Musicology tour poster (the close-up shot of his face). I watched it, and somebody recorded the videos from music television shows (there are no MTV, VH1 or Much Music logos thank God). Gett Off (Housestyle) was taken from the Gett Off Videocassette. The overall print of the DVD picture is VHS quality. The artwork is Printed in Canada and has a Canadian Home Video 'R rating'. Just thought I would share that with the rest of the people on the org.

The "Let's Pretend We're Married" video is like all the other 1999 era videos (1999, Little Red Corvette, Automatic), with the 1999 tour backdrop while Prince performs.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I always say that if you can't buy it at a dollar store, it's not worth owning.

I recently found this set and others at Meijer and they are advertised for $6.92 (not quite $4.88 but still cheap). I couldn't believe they were selling these bootlegs! At first I wasn't sure but when I saw how high quality they were, I knew it! I bought the Aaliyah collection which looks really complete (missing a few notable tracks like "We Need A Resolution") but I got really pissed when it cut off "Are You That Somebody" in the middle with a computer made screen saying "Goodbye Aaliyah". I just started this topic on another board. Buyer beware. If record companies would just release full music video collections for artists, these fakes would probably not be allowed on the market! I'm shocked that they are out there!
