Personally, I have another theory on this!!! Prince has found out that Mayte is doing very nicely for herself, career-wise, now, and also he has seen what she looks like and how fine and hot she is now and he wants her back!!!

I still feel, that deep inside he still loves Mayte and that Mani was a "rebound" relationship and a poor second choice for him(no disrespect 2 Mani, of course!! Shes beautiful and stunning as well!!).

Gold319 I know I love Mayte too. I hope when Prince sees her in Smooth he is kicking himself for letting her get away. But in a werid way...I think he truly loved Mayte, cared deeply for her...but he could control her and mold her...I think his one true love was Sussannah....he could manipulate her to an extent but she was her own person...when Mayte met Prince she was 16 that is so young she propably moulded her thoughts, ideas and personality to what he wanted...Sussannah tried to bring her own intersts and ideas to the relationship and that is what a relationship should be...the bringing together of two sepetate people and meshing together...with Mayte she didn't even know who she was/what she wanted at that age so she just kinda grew into Prince's fantasy. In a way I think Mayte is much happier now without Prince, she is older and experienced life now and is doing what she wants...I don't see them getting back together and I don't think it would be healthy for Mayte...and in a way I don't think Prince deserved her.

Again, it's really none of our business, even though most of us truly care about Prince's well-being. Others may want to gossip, or selfishly impose their own wishes, but we should be used to that.
