In all seriousness, IF Prince and his wife, Mani, are Jehovahs Witnesses, then divorce is out of the question, except in extreme cases, like adultery or physical,mental, emotional and spiritual abuse!!!! Jehovahs Witnesses are encouraged 2 sort through their marital problems and IF AT ALL POSSIBLE resolve any problems 2 keep the marriage 2gether!!

Personally(and I havent posted these thoughts on the club yet for fear of the reaction I am gonna get!!), but I think Prince has left the Jehovahs Witnesses!! Hes got his fame and fortune back again, so he doesnt need anything else in his life anymore!!! The reason for my thoughts on this is by what he has been doing over the past 18 months/2 years(he has shown all the hallmarks of someone who has put his fame FIRST in his life and has spent all his energies in persuing this, at the expense of his spirituality!!!) And all the 3121 parties he has had at his home in LA doesnt show 2 me that hes living up 2 what the Jehovahs Witnesses teach regarding bad associations spoiling usefull habits(1 Corinthians 15:33). By the reports I have read about these parties, he has some famous people there who dont exactly lead moral upstanding lives!! Surely, any strong Jehovahs Witness wouldnt even dream of having these type of people in their homes!!! Plus the underhanded way of counting sales figures including the promo giveaways!!!

So, in some ways, I am not surprised that theres talk of a divorce!!!

but Prince did thank "jehovah" at a BET awards show ...
Not that that means antthing. I mean Jehovah is used the Bible...so doesn't necessary denote JW relations.

and divorce is not shunned upon like it used to be...davidsf (in the p&r forum) who also used to be a jw has pointed out a lot of changes that have happened within the witness religion that brings them closer to more "mainstream" religions (on certain issues)...

Same here. Divorce is so sad for both parties really. one party may grieve the end of the marriage before the other is even aware of trouble in paradise... but it is hard on both.
