I recently downloaded every Prince album made, then purchased them in the order I like them. I have bought every Prince album except for Parade, and The Gold Experience. I'm buying Parade next week, but The Gold Experience is out of print. Why is this album out of print? I don't understand.....

Cos it was only distributed by WARNERS. Prince owns the masters.

IMO the Gold Experience is worth 20 dollars or more. i had it on cassette when it first came out, and last year i bought a used CD copy from ebay, it's definately worth it.

I'm still trying to find The Black Album and Gold Experience on CD. I just hate to go to EBAY.com and get them used. I think Amazon.com has a used/new store were the sellers are amazon members. I think I'll just get them from there.

The thing is, he's letting slip a nice chunk of change by not pressing up some copies of The Gold Experience and Exodus. Fans on the net are constantly asking how can I find TGE/Exodus.

The least he could do is put them up for download over at NPGMC, how hard would it be to rip the CDs?!

i really need "the gold experience" and "emancipation" does any people from london have any suggestions? i know there was a hmv sale that had "emancipation" for £2.99 but i couldn't find it. Amazon is too expensive at the moment for TGE

Try looking around some second hand record shops mate, Emancipation is usually at HMV very cheap, but youll be hard pressed 2 get The Gold Experience there i think. Pay the exta money and get it of Amazon trust me U NEED THIS ALBUM!!

Here in Germany they still have the Gold Experience in almost every record store, new or second hand.

I have all of Prince's released albums (I guess, other than Exodus)
and I haven't had to order any of them online. The Gold Experience
was only $8.99

But I guess if you live in the Boondocks, away from record shops
Amazon is pretty nice
