Prince number three on the Irish singles chart... ...in his capacity as songwriter of "I Wanna Be Your Lover". It's been covered by boyband Zoo, and debuts at number three. I've not heard it, but expect it's been well and truly dumbed down. Inaya Day's take on "Nasty Girl" should hit the top ten next week, so Prince could well have two simultaneous top ten hits for the first time since... ever?

The up-tempo track has received praise from DJ's across the country describing the track as, "A breath of fresh air", "An uplifting feel good song", "a fantastic vocal performance", "Song of the summer". ZOO are very excited about the track and their second release. Eric said," The 5 of us all love the song and think it's a hit, hopefully the fans will like it as much as Poison and we can emulate its success. 'Can you believe that shit?!? The 5 of us all love the song and think it's a hit, hopefully the fans will like it as much as Poison and we can emulate its success'

They don't have a sample of the song on their site, all I heard was Alice Cooper's song Poison . Someone has to find that clip, let us judge for ourselves how good or bad it is. Jeux Sans Frontiers
