Neon Telephone released May 24, 1988

Neon Telephone was release by Three O'Clock fourteen years ago today, under the writing pseudonym of Joey Coco.

I prefer Prince's version, but both are silly, lightweight pop, and not my favorite Prince compositions.

Never heard the 3 o clock version. Only the bootleg Prince version.

The song sucks regardless of who's singing it. Sort of like A Place in Heaven

I'll play it first and tell you what it is later.

Moonbeam

Neon Telephone is one of Prince's greatest songs! It drips with originality, and the mesh of insouciant and melancholy emotions is supreme! Top 20 Prince songs of all time for me!

Yes sir, I like it.

Bouncy pop, the 12" version is good as well.

I agree with Moonbeam. I think the 3 O'clock version is far better than the Prince's. Great pop tune.
