THE VAULT BOOK? Considering purchasing this item.....
For those of you whom own a copy...was it worth the purchase? If so, why? | |

i think it's worth it - you're going to have a hard time finding any other resource, book, website or what-have-you, that has such an encyclopedic wealth of knowledge about concerts, recording sessions, and other miscellaneous memorable events in prince's life and career.
i keep this book and my "complete david bowie" side-by-side.  | |

DMSR only covers the first decade or so - "the vault" covers his entire career up to the beginning of 2004. i really REALLY like DMSR, though.  | |

kind of. it's a chronology. it lists things by specific date, like concerts and album releases and television appearances, and whatever else they have specifics about. | |
