If Prince ever wrote and starred in another movie. What kind of character do you think he would play? Would it be a comedy? Drama? I would love to see him in like a really funny movie. Just because he was really funny in Under the Cherry Moon.

I still think Prince could´ve been a great actor if he hadn´t been so vain in his heyday.Seriously.
I mean he´s created so many different characters over the years and can slip into any role in his songs, so with a little bit of discipline and less ego and under the guidance of a talented director he could have become a decent, if not great actor, it´s just that things went downhill after Graffiti Bridge. Under the Cherry Moon isn´t that bad at all, just a tad to narcisstic.
He should play something funny or evil and shouldn´t be as vain as he was in the past.
And yes, I´ve said it before and I´ll say it again, Jack Nicholson as the Joker was OK, but Prince would´ve been a much better choice. Batman was my childhood hero and Prince´s Partyman video is the best example for any true Batman fan that Nicholson playing Nicholson was OK, but Prince would´ve given us the true Joker we´re all familiar with from the good old DC Comics days.
Nicholson wasn´t hysterical enough and too fat to be a credible Joker.
Prince should start again with some cameos, for instance in some Tarantino flic, even though doing a cameo in a Tarantino flic after years of obscurity ( according to the masses, not the true fans) might be a played out thing.
Yes, Prince IS a good actor, a diamond in the rough if you will. That ´s a field he still has to explore.

I always thought he would have made a great Joker, in batman.

I don't ever want to see Prince act again. I'd rather like to see him in a music documentary directed by someone like Spike Lee, Penelope Spheris, or The Hughes Bros.
