Hey, I always loved this song. I know its kinda hidden between the loud, swaggering "the max" and the funky and very sexy "I wanna melt with u", both firm favs, but I love the way the first half of "symbol" is tracked.

"blue light" is a welcome comedown after me working up a sweat dancing my ass off to "the max".

Shame the video was dull, but at least he bothered to make one.

Funny how sonny t aint on this track?

Also, anyone know when he wrote it? maybe he wrote "get blue" on the same day

funny thing, i loved it way back when and even had a non-prince fan say it was his favorite prince song, but now i really don't like it -- times have changed i guess

Blue Light is sexy. TLC was probably inspired by it when they came out with Red Light Special.

I love this song too. In fact, I think the symbol album is somewhat underrated. There are so many good and different songs that probably every song can be a favourite for somebody (except for The Flow)

I love this song. It's got a breezy, mellow Carribean flavor to it that makes me want to frolic on the beach with my man. Plus the lyrics are so real...and FUNNY! Krystal666, girl...you should definitely dance to this.

One of the best tracks on the album. Never though I'd see Prince doing what is more or less a reggae track. Maybe there's hope yet for a highlife track on his next album...
