PrintableIm not a teenager (boohoo!) but Im only 21 and am a huge Prince fan. I know of a few others, Alison in my class is a huge fan also. Ive got a few others into him aswell, its cool. I find prince fans my age tend to be creative themseselves, maybe a bit more forward thinking and appreciative? less follow-the-crowd top 40 mentality, which Im sure not  yay for continuing purple reign!-Gav | |

I'm also 16 (almost 17 yay!)
I just know one other prince fan too around here but most people say they don't like him because he's weird (without listening to his music!). Some of my friends say he's pretty funky but they only know (and want to know) Kiss and Purple Rain. So hmmyeah it's pretty annoying. | |

I'm seventeen!  and like alot of other people my friends, family, etc don't appreciate Prince either and think he's a bit queer because of the clothes he wears (to which I reply with, "It was the 80's and that was his gimmick" but to be honest their tastes in music don't affect mine and as long as they be quiet while I'm listening to him... I'm cool

hi my name is Beverly and i am 15 yrs old goin' on 16.....all my friends think prince is gay/fag ....and i get rele pissed off at them and say u need to shut the f***k ^ b.c u don't no him .....they will laugh at my face .....so i'm like those are not my true friends....so i have been a prince fan since i was 3 yrs old and i need to find friends who understand me that prince is not gay/fag....ne ways have a nice day | |

don't be like that, it just means that they have different tastes and from the sounds of it they express it quite bluntly and to be honest it doesn't really matter if he's gay or not... he still makes GREAT music!  <3 | |
