JUST FOUND THIS OVER AT THE QUAKE! (ok,let me preface this thread a little bit)
As you may have noticed, this is my first visit here(nice place, not my cup of tea though..) my personal music tastes don't stray very far from the mid 1960's British rock movement(I know,i'm lame,lol..)anyhoo-my sister is an avid Prince fan and frequents this site often.I am employed byThe Hit Factory,in NY. I work at The Hit Factory as an engineer. Yesterday evening (6-13-05) I recieved a call at home notifying me that today(6-14-05),would be a very big day for us at work due to the fact that Prince is set to arrive here with his own set of engineers(actually 2 people)to begin mixing his new record,i was sent a fax containing equipment requirements,a tracklisting of the songs to be mixed at Hit Factory(9 songs will be mixed here) and i was told not to bring anybody with me to work today under any circumstances!(as if i would anyway, lol). My contact person's name is Joseph Lepinski,i was informed that Joseph will handle any questions i may have about the mixing,i have never met Mr. Lepinski in person, just through phone conversation.he is the source of this news i am bringing to Prince fans here,if these plans go haywire, blame Joseph Lepinski, not me0i am a 57 year old guy without a dishonest bone in my body, just thought you guy's would want this info,my sister gave me instructions on how to post here,so here it goes: artist:Prince label:colombia title:3121 these are the tracks that were brought to us at Hit Factory to be mixed/mastered: 1:Satisfied 2:Big Sister 3:At Long Last 4:3121 5:Miricle 6:Everybody Want What They Don't Got 7:Heart 8:3121(end tag) 9:3121(loop) i have absolutely no release dates or anything like that- these are the titles that are being mixed here, that's all. Joseph Lepinski did say that these were to be "album masters"so i would expect this to be at least part of the new Prince album. i hope i was some help, now i'll get back to my Who records, thank you Terry Rowland www.housequake.com: [Edited 6/14/05 13:53pm]

Havn't posted for a very long time. But, having read this, I thought this was my time to return. How can a non-musician discuss the future of music
From anything other than a consumer point of view?

Has anyone called the Hit Factory and asked to speak to engineer Terry Rowland?

"Everybody Want What They Don't Got"
Isn't this from 1985/6? Sure Prince puts older tracks on new albums (Graffiti Bridge anyone?), but it's also a staple ingredient of the fake tracklist. I guess Moonbeam Levels is out of season. I'll wait for a little confirmation before I jump for joy. Don't worry, I can't get pregnant - my ovaries are diseased......

...and i suppose there's my pudding proof, as requested MOre reasons why the tracklist is bullshit: Also "Miracle" is spelled wrong on the tracklist, Prince doesn't mix at studios other than Paisley these days, Big Sister is a lame title for any1's song, and lastly when was the last time a Prince album opened with a ballad??? No "Glass Cutter"? And anyway, my sister also works at a record company (Sony) and she told me that they are in distribution talks and the real tracklist is: 1. 3121 2. Lisa 3. Extraloveable 4. Glass Cutter 5. In A Large Room With No Light 6. Moonbeam Levels 7. God Is Alive 8. Purple Music 9. Electric Intercourse 10.Satisfied 11.No Call U 12.Suck It, Wendy (Feat. GirlBros.) Hidden Track: Roadhouse Garden U guys want some panckakes? I wish u heaven

Far as I know, the Hit Factory is no more...
"...The Sound Kitchen, a multi-room facility based in Franklin, Tenn., recently installed an SSL XL 9000K in Studio D, obtained from Professional Audio Design’s (PAD) liquidation of The Hit Factory in New York City..." http://mixonline.com/news...l-0519054/ "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

I'm ashamed to have the same last name of this liar.
