Both 1999 and Sign "O" The Times had a cheap vinyl-cover: no fold out
But both had the lyrics and artwork on beautiful inner sleeves.

Both I can't call them terrific artwork.

Around the World in a Day and Parade have a beautiful vinyl-covers!!!!
They have a beautiful fold-out cover, like a double-album is supposed to have!
I'd say, Around the World in a Day is the most beautiful.

Parade it is perhaps one of the most iconic pictures of Prince ever. I remember me and a friend waiting for the last train from Covent Garden one night looking at a massive bill poster of it and thinking this has to be the coolest rock star in the world!!

come on.....around the world in a day!!!!!It was a revelation to me back in '85!! A total antithesis for all the '80's flash and polish that was bandying around at that time.....like a cool breeze on a stiflingly hot day.....it refreshed and invigorated the listner whilst preparing them ,somewhat, for the mad and crazy genius of a ride they would go on whilst listening!! A cool juxtaposition to 'purpl rain'!!
