Controversy. To understand some of the stuff he's done recently, like TRC, you'll understand better if you have some background from his first true spiritual statement found on the Controversy album. He basically comes full circle from here to TRC.

Too damn much. Think I got my first album around age 14 too, and wasn't till many years later before I had them all.

well...I don't have all the protoge albums...but I got all of Prince's.
I don't know how much it cost me because I didn't get them all at once either.
and I had a lot on tape and then I had to get them on CD. and then I had 5 stolen so I had to replace them (still haven't replaced Exodus) but try to buy used CD's that will save you some money.

how the hell did u get the black album.

It was released on cd in 94 (if i got the year right)
But before that it was released on vinyl too (as a bootleg that is)
