princey in the clubs

at the moment here in Liverpool a couple of old prince tunes are big in 'funky house' mixes in clubs

'nasty girl' and 'i wanna be your lover' (music only - words are another dance song called 'u stepped into my life')

also off subject a bit theres a good mix of 'easy lover' (phil collins/phil bailey) doing the rounds

anyone heard them?

Yeah, ive heard 'Nasty Girl' alot while ive been out clubbing.Just started to get some serious airplay as well.Not heard the 'I wanna be your Lover' track you talk about though.Do you remember about a year ago, when a danced up version of 'I would Die 4 u' came out? Was everywhere for about a week then disappeared.Shame sad

yes i remember the 'i would die 4 u' dance mix. around the same time there was a '1999' mix floating round. pete tong used to play it with 'when doves cry'

Was that 'I would die 4 u' mix the one Fatboy Slim did at his Brighton beach concert a few years ago ?

That was a classic.
