Of course i didn't mean all straight men find him attractive. What I meant was that, in general, if you were to ask a whole crowd of men of various sexualities if Prince was hot, chances are you'd get more affirmative answers from the straight and bi guys than the gay ones. I think it has something to do with his wardrobe, and the fact that he cuts a very feminine figure while wearing his clothes.
Look at all the clothes he worn...from the little briefs days, to the see-through lace of Purple Rain, the knee-high boot naked posings of the Lovesexy era, the tie-up shirts of The D&P era...and how about that "Gangster Glam" video where he is practically wearing lingerie for a swimsuit. Add to this the high heel boots, and he can look very feminine in his figure. Finish it off with the fact that he has always been so sexual. I can state that as a fact because I personally have never wanted a man in my life, Prince included. A straight man likes rounded hips, breasts and pussy. However, it goes further than that. Women have ways of carrying themselves and innate sensibilities that a man just doesn't have. A straight man doesn't really talk to other men about the same things we talk to women about. So you're wrong about us just wanting the woman for her body. It only starts there. If you are a man and this isn't the case then I guess you aren't as "straight" as you think.
Nonetheless, I can see the qualities Prince has that a woman would like. These are qualities that I have, aspire to, or can do without not ones I wish for in a woman. |
