Is "royal badness" his only title?

How come he doesnt have a King of / Godfather of / Baby Daddy of / title?

NO HE WON'T! Prince wouldn't wish no bad on MJ for his own gain. He is already established as one of the best ever.

    I agree
His music is too challenging to be catorgorized in the lowest common denominated world of pop( not a put-down;that's what pop is supposed to be).

I agree there, but if hes above pop then why did he bring out a purely pop album in Musicology?? Musicology was nothing but pop material!!

No chance. There are younger, more commercial singers out there that could take the crown.

The people who buy music in the vast quantities which make up the charts are between the ages of 14 to 24. That is the demographic that record companies use as a guideline.

Anyone who wants to be the new king/queen of pop has to engage that generation. Every now and then an artist comes along that appeals to ALL the demographics and not just the youngsters. But they have to strike whilst the irons hot as it never lasts. Unfortunately, it already happened for Prince back in the 80's. Now he is better of doing what he does and not even try to be commercially viable in the commercial world of pop.

Being the "King of Pop" these days would be an insult.

I'm sorry, but is "pop" music even relevant anymore? I know MTV still exists but what does it show the majority of these days, hmmm?

As for Prince being crowned the "new" King of Pop, he wouldn't want "that" anyway! That "crown" is so tarnished, Tarn X would have to go out of business because even it couldn't remove all the crap MJ has gotten on it! hmph!

His royal Badness is soo much more cool then king of pop, but i dont think his roayl badness would appeal to him now.

When I think of a title for Prince. I think of James Brown; being the GodFather of Soul/Funk, [b] and Prince being his mentee, the "Prince"
