This is a hard 1 even 4 me, Adore is in my top 5 favorite Prince song and 1 of his best ballads and songs he's ever written. But If i was your girlfriend is a classic aswell as Adore. Off of 1 of Prince's greatest records Sign o' the times. If U had 2 choose which 1 would it b. I would have 2 choose Adore cuz of particular reasons it's just beutiful 4 the mood, thats what I like. I have that charm, just pop in Adore 4 the ladies 2night.(I got some good Pussy off of that song!) Explain ur reasons.

I do think Adore is a lovely song but I've never been such a rabid fan of it as others. I don't know why.

I would go with IIWYG as my choice between the two song. IIWYG is brilliant and clever and unique, and there's no other song out there like it.

I love "Adore", but lyrically, it's overly fantastical, which is why I prefer the much more down-to-earth, realistic "Forever In My Life".

"If I Was Your Girlfriend" is darkly quirky brilliance. One of Prince's best. 'Nuff said.

I like Adore, but it's too sugary sweet and I'm surprised the people who hate on D&P the song have the nerve to call D&P that. But that's what Adore is. His most syrupy song of all time. IIWYGF is really neat and I actualy don't see it as a song about gender bending, but simply wanting to be as intimate with his lover as she is with her girlfriends(friends). They're intimate in a way that a boyfriend and girlfriend typrically aren't. This is awesome in that it is so unique. IIWYGF wins.

This is hard, but I have to go with Adore because it's smooth. I love the funk on IIWYG too, but I loved the vibe he represented on Adore.

Adore is his smooth telling her how he feels ballad. If I Was Your Girlfriend is the wanting to full her needs ballad. It's hard to pick one for me i like them both.

IT's a difficult choice. I like both of these songs but in my HO Carelss Whisper has always been the one!

Lately I have a newfound appreciation for "Adore" Believe it or not, I had gotten sick of the song, until the other day I was listening to some ONA shows where he sang it at the piano sit down. My God, what a song, I realized. And the lyrics? fuhgettaboutit. Simply awesome.
