I'm a very auditory person, and listening to music with lyrics while I'm working often distracts me. Some Prince music works well, though - disc one of SOTT, The Gold Experience, The Truth, TRC, and the Trojan Horse aftershow. I think One Nite Alone will work well too.

And, of course, certain tracks like 'Let's Work' and 'The Work Pt. 1'.

P's music definately helps me get through the day...

3) Any Madhouse
4) Small Club
5) 2nd disc from Emmancipation

probably the PARADE album. that marching percussion sounds pushes the energy and gets you in a great mood for working. and when the work is done you can chill to SOMETIMES IT SNOWS IN april...
