Prince has inspired me 2 b who i am and not give a fuck what other people think!
Always give 100% 2 your life and not bullshit around with whatever talent God gave u or(4 athiest) talent that u have!

He inspired me to make music,write music,talk in a risque manner and just showed me the way to the funk!

In the early eighties I was into the Beatles because nothing else resonated within my world (I was 15 in 1980) the music that was about was okay (hell man better than most of the shit that prevails today) but the Beatles had everything and my did they impress me. I think it was early 84 when I first heard 1999 on the dance floor (this is not by any means my favourite Prince record, however) I was absolutely blown away by the wall of funk/rock/pop/electronica that eminated from that fuckin track! No record (Beatles included) has ever ment so much to me for it was on that day I found the Purple One and from then on I sought out his groove!

25 years on and I honestly believe that my life was/is made better by the love I have for his work/creations, I get so much from this Human Being and yet I have absolutely no desire to ever meet him! He is and always will be the man who through his music brought me experiences that will enable me to say on my last day on this Earth that I have lived!!

My daughter is called Paisley and my 2 day old new born son is called George, he will no doubt become addressed as Bob George!!!

Prince I thank you for sharing your God given Genious with a lad from Edinburgh, Scotland. Your influence on me is the Joy of living itself and your music has been the soundtrack to my life.
