I think like many human beings he has a conscious and regrets. Furthermore, I'm sure he wishes he could do things differently. However, what Prince did to his bandmates/inner circle is no worse than what most people do every day in all walks of life. We just don't get tell all books and countless perspectives on our collective actions. Besides, other than those around us who would care? lol

I wouldn't say that he treated bandmates bad, he just demanded the best from people. In my opinion, more musicians (or people in general) should be like that.

However, in my mind there are a couple things that stand out. The firing of Wendy and Lisa and the time he "accidentally" erased some of Andre Cymone's tracks in the studio.

Other than that, I could care less about the dozens of engineers and bandmates who feel they were overworked.

Thats a good perspective. The good thing is, Prince has learned from his mistake (like most individuals should hopefully). If you notice recently how nice he is and willing to share (sometimes totally giving up) the spotlight with his bandmates. In interviews he uses terms like 'WE, and US. It's truely good to see if you ask me.

Prince isn't perfect, but he is no oogre either confused

okay, he has mood swings and is a bit of a diva sometimes but I think he
probably likes most of the people he works with and they all must
like/ respect/ understand him.

I mean I don't hear much news of him being sued, or having restaining orders
taken out against him. And many of his former employees and past
friends and girlfriends never say an ill word of him.

maybe he's difficult but I highly doubt he's mean, or conscience-less wink
If you will, so will I

yes speak on MsLegs!!!

4 my point of view, asking if someone has a conscious is like asking if someone has a soul...we all do...its a matter of how U work what U got! the 'harvest' of these last couple of years could cause him 2 re-think & re-address relationships significant 2 him & strive 2 heal & uplift his walk N the world creating healthier & happier associations....

...or he could just say F@CK IT, eye am Prince...& keep on the same way...

...it really does seem 2B that he is growing more N2 Being comfortable with his True self...when he's feeling stronger N it = he'll B sure & show us...this one is looking 4ward 2 that expression of him Being Revealed! wink

Damn right. Someone that believes that Prince can do absolutely no wrong, doesn't want to hear about his wrong doings, and refuses to accept he can do wrong, is definately the one that would be more likely to stalk.

What the hell are y'all talking about? Somebody who cares enough to get the "inside scoop" is more likely to stalk than somebody that admits they don't know what's in the man's head and leaves it at that. There's a difference between not wanting to know the "truth" and not caring.

Well not only has he matured thru age and experience, but being a true Christian has taught him to "love his neighbor", so I'm sure he's making it up to a lot of the people that he wronged in the past. smile

Whodknee, What the fuck is your problem and what's got your underwear in a twist? It's funny when you come accross industry insiders, you purple kool aide drinkers get defensive and start calling people starkers when you're the starker. Actually, the problem with a lot of purple kool aide drinkers is that you don't want those who get information from insiders to tell the truth about the man you worship. Put the purple kool aide down for once drink. Get a coke and smile and shut the fuck up b/c your game is lame.

Yes he has a conscience. In fact he personifies the word. On "Bob George" he clearly says "This is your conscience, Mother Fucker!" when asked who it is on the telephone.

OK, now discuss.....
