i can't stop listening to i wonder
i know i'm a few years late but that's what i love about the online community - without it i might never have heard it - so i challenge you to find it in your collection and give it a spin today

This song has always been one of my favs. I just love it so much. I really love how Prince does so many vocals and background vocals in his music. I really like how it is usually all him of the time. I always get in such a happy mood with this song. | |

I Wonder is one of his best unreleased songs. Every fan of his music should have this in their collection, no matter how they feel about boots. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

The ending is a bit strange, sort of abrubt fade out !

yeah it is kind of an abrupt end to the song but i guess beggars can't be choosers when it comes to boots anyone know the origins of the song??  She couldn't stop crying 'cause she knew he was gone to stay | |

It is one of me and my Baby's fave songs though. I Had a random mix cd playin when I first looked at this thread...then I left...about 10 min's later this song popped up on the cd so I had to revisit the thread and post something....I do adore this song. I think this track was recorded during the Diamonds & Pearls sessions (or at least during that period). Definitely one of my favorite unreleased tracks. A real gem! | |

Indeed a beautiful song, K6's.....in some ways it reminds me of Allegiance and Get Blue - beautiful songs that, without hearing him on vocals, wouldn't strike you as a Prince tune.

I'm pretty sure this song is older than that. I bought it on a cassette at a record show back in the day and I'm pretty sure he didn't even know Mani then. Mayte, maybe, but I think it was recorded before her time as well. What I wouldn't give for a new, clean copy. Prince, release this one. Please? "She made me glad to be a man" | |
