Can I assume that you don't like Luther Vandorss for that same reason? Luther is gay and a lot of his songs were written for his partners. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Prince is straight. Get over it!

But THE One thing that I'll never understand as a straight fan is this: Why would Luther or Tevin play their own fans & the media for stupid when it looks too obvious that they're gay? Do you think that fear of losing fans or music credits if they did a tell all?

Apparently Tony, you weren't paying attention.Luther did acknowledge that the man who he had accidently killed in the accident was his partner. The accident was in the newspapers worldwide as well as the Jet and Ebony. Hell, the fucking car accident happened near the Hollywood 101 Freeway in 86. So, stop trying to cover for his ass. Luther came out a long time ago and you just now catching up. Give me a fucking break. [Edited 6/1/05 22:44pm]

And yes, I'm still catching up! I had no idea that the young man killed in the accident was Luther's boyfriend. Beside, Luther (unlike say Boy George or George Micheal) has never been an all right there, in your face kind of a guy about his homesexually (IMHO of course). Can I assume that you don't like Luther Vandorss for that same reason? Luther is gay and a lot of his songs were written for his partners. Well, Luthor's different. Im always gonna like Luthor, he's legend. He ALWAYS makes great music. But Tevin's soemthing else though. I never knew that Luthor was gay, even though he always seemed feminine; but I guess that would explain why Patti LaBelle once called him a "diva". LOL! Prince and Tevin made good music together and I will have to leave the rest to pure speculation. The FACTS are as follows... Prince wrote and produced Round and Round for Tevin and it appeared on Tevin's T.E.V.I.N. album, the Graffiti Bridge Soundtrack, and he appeared and performed that track in the movie. Prince wrote and produced Shhh, Halls of Desire, Paris 1798430, and Uncle Sam and they appeared on Tevin's 1994 release, I'm Ready. Tevin has sinced come out of the closet but he has never said Prince had anything to do with it or that they collaborated on anything other than music.
