One of my favorite things about him is how he really puts himself out there in his music. He really appeared vulnrable and honest in alot of his songs. How many of us could really honestly put are most hidden fears/insecurities/feeling/thoughts in a song and let everyone hear it to be judged and talked about?? That takes an expecialy brave person to do that! I think that is one of the reasons Prince is my idol...I wish I could be as self assured and strong the way he is! Not be self concious like how he is sometimes. Lyrics like these:

"She's so cool. And I'm so ugly" from Peach

"I'm so scared that he might do something to you that you like" from Do it all night

"Have you ever wanted someone so much you'd take anyone boy or girl?" from Anna Stesia.

It takes alot of guts to write things like that and record them and have people listen to it and see you and form an opinion on you based on what you said/did. I think that is one of the reasons I felt so drawn to Prince, because we both are kinda insecure but he is so strong and just puts it out there for people to go and doesn't care. I wish I could be more like him actually.

I think that song "I love you in me" when that line he says "She don't blush cuz she's so damn free" really makes me think of him!

I have no idea how many times I've said this but, "Prince ain't no joke" Thats what I love about that guy too. He does not give a you know what.

yeah i agree totally i think its very admirable for a man to really express himself through his music and not care how others perceive him. thats what i love most about prince because hes not afraid to let his soft sensitive side show. he sure makes it look cool for a man to cry.
