good for him. i have a buttload of music in my collection by the man and i've seen him enough times. have a good life.
but nobody in music who says they're gonna retire ever really does. there's always the big "comeback tour" that seems to last the rest of their lives. so i really hope he "retires".  | |

hmmmm.
Indifferent. He's given me some of my favorite music. I would place 4 of his albums in my top 10 all time favorite albums (even though I rarely listen to them now). So, I'd probably just feel closure. I kind of had closure with Prince about 3 years ago--In my mind, he's basically retired. The stuff that's out now is great, but it lacks the same "umph" that his older stuff has. So, if he retired, I'd be happy for him. Now, I DO wish vault material would continue to be released.  | |
