Dreamin About U I can't stop listening to this poetic and moving treasure from the Emancipation album. I have been playing this all spring and it sounds good every time I hear it.
Dreamin' About U If the wind blew every petal from Ur precious red rose Would U B afraid of what U'd find inside? It's so lovely and emotionally honest. The bass to me towards the end has such a heartbreaking swiftness (almost Jaco/Joni style) that carries the rest of the sadness home. | |

  this thread caused B 2 listen 2 this track with new energy....revisiting compells B 2 share with all...
but a Rose yeah...  like flowers...Carnations R my 2nd favorite....they remind me of formal dresses....tuxedo's, dress suits....invitations & coronations...
but a Rose... ...a Rose is my choice above all... ...a Rose...its soft petals....so very delicate... ...Blooming.....Gracefully.....Completely....but...should... ...some1/something.....Pluck 1 of its gentle Petals... ...it looses a touch of its Beauty... ...still....Unique....&...Beautiful...only... ...slightly less...2 those...who had seen it....N Full Bloom (a portion of my 1st place award entry from 8th Annual Writers Conference, Clark/Atlanta University April 1977) ...more music with the "Dream about U" vibe, something 'd Love 2 Hear
