[Edited 5/24/05 18:22pm] Or you happen to live in Florida and are one of the many people to be incorrectly (and purposely and systematically) removed from Katherine Harris' infamous voter registration lists. Like, let's say, the database has you listed as a felon for a crime you will be convicted of in 2007. If you think I'm making this up, find the actual list online. There were numerous people who were denied the right to vote because somehow they were listed as felons for crimes that were to be committed years after Election Day. As a Florida resident, I sure feel much safer knowing that my state takes such a proactive stance on crime. Need a purple high, indeed! Shades of "Minority Report". If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
