PrintableI either say "(Well,) It's real music", or "You're missing out". Sometimes I say, "He's the best." too.
Or I just let them have their opinion and have all of the Prince to myself! 
But I've never had anyone say to me that exact phrase. Most of the time they just say that they don't like his music. If someone did say it was s then I'd probably get on the defensive, and say: "What have you heard that is s?" "Do you realize that he's been arranging, producing, and writing 99% of his music for more than 25 years?!" "You know he's fine, right?" (  just had to put that)
"If you've only heard a few of his hits, then I'm sorry to say, you know nothing about his music to say it's s".
