who say Prince's music is shit. They don't say they don't like his music, they categorically state the music is shit.

What evidence do you put forward to try and disprove this statement?

If someone is not into Prince, they have no idea what he's capable of. If they don't like the sound of his music, they aren't going to take the time to find out or even care, for that matter, how talented he is either.

I can argue all day with other Prince fans because we all love his music and we are simply arguing over which songs sound better to our particular ears. I don't waste my time arguing with non-Prince fans about his music because it's pointless. They simply don't like his music. I also believe in people having minds and tastes of their own so I have no right to force Prince on anyone.

I state why i love his music and think its great...i do this calmly so that i make actual sense...than i ask them y they think its ish.most of the time they end up running out of weak arguments and start sayin the usual"well,hes weird or gay" and i give my usual response of "and this has what 2 do with his music" "how do u know hes gay...were u there?" "hes weird huh,how?well, whos 2 say thats weird?" than i ask them whos music they like and if the artist's music is not all that great or just CRAP i get REVENGE and let my opinions flow

My tastes differ from 99.9% of the people on this site and I'm sure I haven't swayed one person's opinion so I know it's a waste of time trying to convince somebody who won't even entertain the thought of liking his music. Besides, I don't identify myself with Prince to that extreme where not accepting him means not accepting me.

Well honestly...I don't really care what they think. They are entitled to their own opinion and can like whatever music they like! It's always fun to run into another Prince fanatic like me tho!

I get very defensive.I try to remind them how can they like Michael Jackson and
