Not sure about the dancing feet, but I'd say MJ has busier hands.

MJ, is the better dancer. Prince is the better performer. If that makes any sense... Blue

Prince for me.Enjoy his spontanaity more. Its got more rhythm and soul.Don't get me wrong MJ did have some fantastic moves in his heyday, but it was all planned and rehearsed, whereas Prince goes with the flow which is far more enjoyable to watch.

MJ seems to be the master of perfection. You can tell he's studied his moves, worked out the timing to a tee and practiced his ass off!
Prince seems to be 'on the moment'. The 1993 tour was probably the last time he had really set choreography. He has his 'moves' (ie. splits, spins etc) but he seems more spontaneous (very James Brown inspired I think) It's like comparing Miles Davis to Wynton Marsalis - two totally different approaches. I would love to see MJ dancing like Prince and Prince dancing Moonwalk!
It must be funny. But at all I love Prince and his dancing like Instable.

Equally fluid and light on their feet, not to mention they complement each other well (MJ can't nail the splits, and Prince can only dream of moonwalkin' like Mike), but Prince's slim repertoire can't compare to MJ's more electrifying and diverse.
MJ can actually be very spontaneous himself. He's very rehearsed but not EVERY show on, let's say, his "Bad" tour is the same, note for note, move for move.

I wonder if they ever imitated one another when rehearsinfg or just for fun in their own time.... I I could see Prince telling himself I better not do it that way....that was too Michaelish... + =

Michael Jackson ain't sexy. That makes all the differences. Prince's moves know how to reel in the ladies.

Remember when he performed "Face Down" on Chris Rock's show? He went "EEE-HEEE!!!" into the microphone and then did a Michael Jackson kick.

Prince!!! Hands down.
Michael was good in the late 70's early 80's, but the moonwalk, just got stale after awhile. As did his tours, that really didn't change from the 70's line-up and style he created back then. At least Prince keeps it fresh. In case you missed the Musicology tour... he tore it up during When Doves Cry!

I never get tired of watching P do his thang but where are the astoundingly fresh moves nowadays? As far as I can tell, both have kept to roughly the same repertoire, with maybe a minor alteration or new little twist here and there. [Edited 5/23/05 13:34pm]

MJ may be the better dancer but he creeps me out with his constant crotch grabbing. it's like he has to check that it's there all the time. lol.

I was speaking of his concerts, not necessarily his "moves." Prince changes sets and songs each tour. Michael merely added songs to the same 70's show he's been touring forever.

or Mr. Nelson or for better choice of words who do you enjoy watching more when it comes to moves and style! don't be shy... They're both talented, but I appreciate Prince's originality. U can tell by the way he dances that there's no imitation. He's doing his own thang. Then again, Michael Jackson has also inspired many, including Usher. edit [Edited 5/23/05 7:12am]
