Guys that look like himself meaning, how come you never seen Prince hang around with guys that are light-skinned and good-looking with eyes like his and are conceited like him.

Example:
Rick Fox, Howard Hewett, Christopher Williams, Shemar Moore. David Justice.

If you look back and noticed The Game Boyz(Tony, Damon, Kirk)were all brown skinned or dark skinned brothers as well as Sonny T. and Levi Seacer and Miko Weaver was brown-skinned as well.
In Cherry Moon, Jerome Benton was his dark-skinned sidekick and now Larry Graham. Hows come you never see him be friends with somebody like a Howard Hewett or Rick Fox who thinks they are sexy like P does and can sing they ass or off can get any woman they want like P does. I'm not saying anything wrong with dark skin, but I just noticed that. I know he had white folks around, but I'm talking about guys his complexion. I mean for friends, not meaning in a gay manner, I don't mean that!

Funny question. Prince used to hang with Terrence Trent Darby for a bit back in the 80's. He was also cool with Lenny Kravitz. Lenny said they used jam and record a lot of music (that I'm sure we'll never hear). Prince was also cool with Freedom Williams (C & C Music Factory). Freedom said in a interview when they went on tour with Prince back in 1991, they would work out at the gym together. (Whatever happened to Freedom?) I also heard Prince used to be real cool with Micki Free (Shalamar guitarist) but Prince supposedly heard Micki telling people he was Prince's brother and didn't like that. So Prince cut him off. I also remember Right On! magazine ran a little article on that and it said "Don't Invite Prince and Micki To The Same Party".(lol) It could also stem from the Little Richard thing where he didn't want anyone else in his band "prettier" than him. (lol)

I remember that piece in Right On about not inviting Micki Free and Prince to the same party. But a couple of you did make a point, I did forget about Micki Free and Andre Cymone, my bad. Morris is close to his complexion, but that is still not the same category as Rick Fox or a Howard Hewett.

Another thing I addressed in my tread, I didn't say nothing about dark-skinned folks was unattractive or he shouldn't have them as friends, but that's alright because I got the #1 answer from one of you that I pretty much figured. He probably didn't want anybody prettier than him hanging around. You see how he was jealous of Miko and Miko is not light-skinned to me, so imagine Rick Fox, Howard, Shemar or any other guys who think they are just as sexy or sexier than P. There would be egos and fist flying all the time. I noticed he never had them as band members. Andre is an exception, but he was also his childhood friend so it was automatic that he would be the bass player.

I would say the same thing if it was vica versa. How come he never has dark-skinned guys around.
