I just had thought U know prince played that amazing guitar solo at the end of the NAACP awards performance, and people didn't know what it was from, Well i may have the answer, go put on your "truth" CD and play track 9 called "Fascination", Rite or wrong??!??! That solo is basically a Santana cover - Soul Sacrifice I believe? He used to do a Santana instrumental medley in concert quite often.
One of Prince's prime inspirations is Santana's guitar playing, so it's not surprising some of his other songs like 'Fascination' sound Santana-esque. | |
