I was listening to Howard Stern this morning and Tommy Lee was on there. Amongst plugging his new album Howard asked him who he was "banging" and Tommy said he was still with Mayte. Howard and Robyn for some reason continued mispronouncing her name, much to the chagrin of Tommy. As they were referring to Mayte, Howard said something to the effect that "if Prince was married to her, you know she has to be beautiful" and Robyn said something like "you know there is some serious quality control happening there", again referring to Prince and his taste in women. Tommy then when on to add that Mayte gives him goosebumps when he thinks about her (me too! ) and that she WILL be going on tour with him to support his new album as ...get this,.... a dancer! She is doing some kind of dancing on stage during his shows...reminding us of how Prince and her started.....

oh God, no....

she will be dancing on stage for tommy? gees!
hey, what ever happened to her album she was working on? will it ever see the light of day?

More power to Tommy and Mayte. He gets goosebumps when he thinks about her....that's DEEP. If she feels the same way about him, then, they got it going on and I wish them the best.

It's kind of sad really. Mayte has beauty and enough talent as a dancer to make it on her own in show business.

Instead of getting a manager and shopping her demo around and trying to get a deal for herself, she has hooked up with yet another famous man and become an ornament on his arm at award shows and in his videos.

What does that tell you about Mayte?


Prince

I heard it also this morning. He also said that he was helping her with her album. He did sound really happy to be with her. You could really hear it in his voice. He said that his production manager was Prince's production manager for 5 years and they introduced Tommy to Mayte. He also said that he would bring Mayte with him the next time he was on so that Howard could meet her. He told Howard that he would understand what he was talking about once he saw Mayte on stage dancing. He said that she was incredibly sexy or something to that affect.

Hey that's cool..... As long as she's happy that's all that really matters. Sounds like Tommy at least shows her respect and allows her to be herself.
