Cool. Was he as awesome as he seems? I've read 'My Life With Swollen Appendices' and I was He's worked with so many of my favourite acts - Roxy, Bowie, Talking Heads - I'd be grilling him. Very cool guy. Last I'd read is that he may be working on Roxy's new record. THAT I can't wait to hear.

Or used to roller skate with him, or see him at the Pacific Club, or he used to come into the movie theatre I worked at. |

I wasn't being serious. But I used to plug cables for people who have worked with him as their producer. At the very least you could say I know someone who knows someone who knows David Bowie. I did once get drunk with the members of Suede though. [Edited 5/18/05 6:39am]

There also was a persistent rumour going around in some circles that I was going to be "Suede's new keyboard player" after that. Seriously, I tried music business but accomplished nothing in the end - it always just amounted to "I know someone who knows someone" -type of things (I could name just about anyone in that manner). And then you start thinking you're already on the verge of becoming somebody. I'm sure there is so tofu-chilli-dog -stand salesperson in Minneapolis who "knows" Prince too.
