Ahhh, I always meet people who say they know Prince, met Prince, saw Prince...god aren't the odds in my favorite that I'll see him walking somewhere or see him at the MAC counter of SOMETHING sometime soon??!!

'twas the Hit N'Run tour in 2000 (or was that 2001) and also some dates on the ONA US tour.

My uncle used to work at Buckingham Palace and was Prince's butler.

My dad told me he met someone on a plane going to El Paso, TX (around 1984-1985, keep that in mind!) who knew Prince when he was in high school. He told me the guy showed him a few old pictures of him, and he described him as a "loner".

Okay, I have two.

When I attended Howard U (for about 2 years), I used to, kind of know a boy named AJ (yes, the guy that hosts 106 & Park). Well, he used to hug my twin sister and I (every time he saw us) cos. I don't know, he thought we were cute and little, I guess. And he is more than a fan of Prince, I reckon, cos Prince called him up on stage at one of his shows at some club in New York.

And then there's Ananda. She was at Howard, too, when I was there, and she used to wave to my twin & I. I don't know how that came about, we used to always see her around, I guess. And she has been rumored to date Prince, so...

I work with a woman who lived across the street from him when they were kids. I actually know a lot of people who know him either from living in the same neighborhood, going to school with him or working with him.

its true....especially if you live in minnepolis. i love hearing other peoples prince stories. once it surfaces that im a prince fan.....people here usually have some sort of prince story for me, whether its someone they know who has met him....or ran into him or had a spotting, or pulled him over for speeding around lake calhoun, or whatever its great.
