I feel sorry for Prince in a way, he is seldom in a natural and relaxed state. It is like he wants to always control the image he portrays. Wants 2 come across as so neat and righteous. He really should do himself a favour and jus relax and be human.
It is a great picture. I love the man, but would be cool if he wasent soo self concious, its almost pathetic. On the ONA tour I saw him smiling, and that was brilliant. Such a beautiful smile. Set yaself free sweet virgin! | |

It seems like most people around here are in position to judge, like they have a degree in humans mind. Everybody seems to know why and that Prince is insecure, control freak and bla bla bla.

I can only hope he's in a natural relaxed state much more than you have assumed, like when he's home, or on vacation, or generally just not in the public eye. oh and I love this whole event? Ever seen the MTV video of the whole thing? I thought Prince seemed very happy and relaxed even with having to be on a date with a "fan" who was so obviously nervous, I thought he was very sweet to her and I thought martha quinn was gonna have a heart attack when he says something to her about using his hands or something! hahaha! prince was playful and cute! I heard that that was all a show he had to put on because he was lock into this with MTV. He didn't want to go to some hick town and play it up with some frumpy insecure girl. Just look at the video of them getting read and going out on the town. He was really not comfortable with that. Look at the pre-concert part when he is standing there with Lisa Barber and whispered in her ear to give the pearl necklace back. She looked pissed!!! He looked cool and funky getting off the plane in the black suit and then he ran to the crowd to throw his jacket over the fence to them. No I don't think he was too happy to be in Wyoming. "

I heard about him being locked into it and all but I heard that stuff after I saw it so maybe that's why ...but...if that was all a show then his acting is a lot better than we give him credit for...I thought he was genuinely happy.... I don't recall the getting ready part I guess....and I was trying to say that it was obviously not the most comfortable situation for either of them but all in all Prince was in a good mood. You know, when that dude is pissed he's pissed...ain't no hidin' it. I don't know maybe I'll have to go watch it again but...just lookin' at the shit eatin' grin in this pic tells me it ain't fake but....that's just me. "not a fan" yeah...ok | |

Let's be honest the reason he doesn't smile is because, he hasn't got a nice one. He can look a bit Bugs Bunnyish when he smiles. The gums and teeth gaps at the side are awful.
I always wondered why he never smiled but then when I saw him actually pop a grin I was like ...OK dude stick to looking serious! | |

His smile is lovely and much better than the striaght faced serious look or bad boy look. His gums are big and have two pointy teeth on the right and left side but that's still beautiful!
