how can you not like "i like it there"-the ultimate rock song ,or santana like guitar on i will? to me chaos and disorder is funny nice rock n roll album with solid production and prince saying "fuck of to wb". | |

Lovesexy....as much as I love it. The one track thing PISSES me off...though I do have a tracked version now....so maybe it'll change. I never listen to For You either. His age REALLY shows in that record. But I still love 'em. (In a non-homosexual kind of way) | |

There aren't many albums of his that I never listen to, but these are the ones I listen to least.
For You-Nothing special about it. Lovesexy-Some songs are generic and the preachy theme doesn't appeal to me. Batman-Pretty average. Graffiti Bridge-Too inconsistent. Diamonds and Pearls-Too much Tony to sift through.  -See GB.
Emancipation-Too much Kirky. NewPower Soul-Really poor album. Rave-Not that much better than NPS. TRC-Too preachy, voice is annoying, too many dull jazzy songs. NEWS-Totally boring. Musicology-Fairly dull, run of the mill stuff. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I'm not usually in the mood to sit and listen to an album by any artist in its entirety. I usually play a track by an artist, followed by a track by another artist, and so on. Even when I'm in a Prince mood, it's usually a track from an album, followed by a track from another album, and so on.
When a new Prince album is released, I usually listen to it in it's entirety a lot in the beginning until the new wears off. Then when I do feel the mood for a Prince album in it's entirety, it's usually one of the earlier albums. I very rarely pull any of the others except for particular tracks here and there. hmm. I hardly ever listened to "Purple Rain" after the
first two years of owning it. can't say I listen to the albums too much anymore at all. I just upload a certain "era" of Prince onto my computer once in a while, containing album tracks & b-sides together with outtakes and remixes. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

Honestly I listen to all of them regularly if not for just a couple songs...except for the Rainbow Children..man it is so hard to get through that album..last night I put it on and tried to let it grow on me but the music was so boring I just had to take it off and but on Chaka Kahn's Come 2 my house... Prince and her should team up more often..that album is AWESOME! | |
