didn't he say around the time of the symbol album that he wrote an autobiography and had it buried in a time capsule for 700 years or some crap like that?

i'd like him to do what kate hepburn did..work with a real author and secretly write a book that would be released a few months after his death.....

just to allow himself the chance to get the record straight..well from his perspective..

and please, no cryptic babble...

I hope that when he's in his 60s and mellows out, that he'll participate in some in-depth interviews/documentaries... give us some insights on his life and approach to music... that would be very interesting... maybe by then he'll be less worried about whatever the hell he's worried about now in terms of people finding out about him...

(I'm secretly hoping that DeNiro will do the same thing.. but he's almost in his 60s, so he better get to stepping!)

!!!
Come here, babe.. yeah...

If he did write one, I'm not sure if I would even believe half of what he'd write. I know I don't know the man personally, but it seems to me that he would tell us only what he wanted us to know. I highly doubt he would tell the real truth behind his relationships with women or his former band members. I doubt he'd tell us the truth about himself either.

Having said that, I don't want him to write a "tell all", but I would like to know that what I was reading was the truth and I don't feel we would get that. I'm not calling the man a lier, but I believe he wouldn't tell us much and it would all be his side of the story and not the real truth. I also wouldn't want to be lectured on his religion and be told how I should conduct my life.

He has led a far from perfect life, but it's been an extremely interesting life too. I'd love to hear about it, but only if it was the truth. Perhaps when he's an old man he might feel the need to get it all out. Right now, I wouldn't believe half the shit he'd write.

In any autobiography, it must be a "tell all" or we will never get the truth.

Prince must be able to keep it real if he ever decides to write his life story at all. Period!

I'd settle for an episode of "Story Tellers" on VH1.

I co-sign the story tellers...prince tells enuff of his life thru his music is what I think he feels. And I kind of agree. Not that I wouldn't wanna see an autobiography. He ain't gonna do it. All U gotta do is listen to all of his records from beggining to end...and U got one.
