Well I really like that song. Andre's version IS Prince's version (only wirh Prince's vocals taken off and Andre's added). I particularly like the bit just after the repeated "Better love each other" lines when it then goes "it's almost time to go!" and the funky guitar drops in.

One of my performing Gorillas "dropped a funky guitar" once.

It's a great tune, although admittedly Andre's version (which I think is superior) took a little while to grow on me.

The album itself is a little uneven but has some gems on it. 'Book Of Love', 'Pretty Wild Girls' and 'Lipstick Lover' were cool. The rest of it did nothing for me.

It's exactly what was said earlier, it is the version Prince made, but his lead vocals were turned down, yet you can still hear him and he's also in the backing vocals. There is no difference in the tracks except it was Andre's record. It's still one of the funkiest tunes Prince has written.

Prince: I got this hit! You know you need it.

Andre: You think I'm crazy?

Prince: You ain't crazy, I'm the one that's crazy! C'mon and get this hit. You need this.

Andre: Cool.

Prince: Cool.

I love the Dance Electric. It is so cool. I have the 12" of that song as well as the album AC. I really don't remember any songs off the album though since I only bought it for Dance Electric. I think Prince should have kept that song for himself. It's so cryptic and spooky.
What was Prince's ideaology (sic) back then?
Wake up, children. Dance the dance electric. Love your enemies. There isn't much time. I guess he really thought the world was gonna end in 1999.
