Is there a genre of music Prince hasn't attempted that you'd like to see him try?

Or a genre that you'd like to hear him play more of?

Most of Prince's attempts outside of rock, funk, or soul have been absolute failures so I'm not that anxious to see him trying much outside of his strength.

Pat Metheny-type music. I wonder if he could do it.

I'm not so sure this is a genre per se, but I'd like to hear him do an extended piano solo (I'm talking 20 or more minutes) with no voice and no other accompaniment.

Ska-Punk would definitely be interesting.
Doubt he's got the anger in him anymore to pull it off properly. Maybe the Prince of20 years ago, but not this version.

Absolutely not. He's already messed around with different types of music that I never wanted, or dreamed, he would dare to mess with in the first place. I was much happier with his music when it was strictly good hard funk/rock, before he got "versitile" to the extreme.

Eh. Haven't you heard any of his instrumentals?

Oh, and he actually sampled Metheny's take on "Buong Suong" for one of his concert outros.
