I would love to see this, just once leave the production duties to someone else, even if it gets vaulted and then released years down the track.

Jimmy has SO MUCH respect 4 Prince, U know he'd do it justice, and would know what Prince wanted or not.

Before Emancipation came out, Prince mentioned at some gig that his next CD would be produced by Dallas Austin.

Maybe that was his idea of a joke, or was just giving the brutha props, but maybe Prince has toyed with the idea of having a producer.

Probably the closest we're going to see (or hear) anything like this is the Prince songs done by remixers

IF JAM/LEWIS PRODUCED PRINCE'S NEXT CD IT WOULD SURELY BE A HIT. THOSE TWO (JAM/LEWIS) ARE STILL GREAT PRODUCERS.
