SHOULD Prince be thinking in Albums? or Single Song experiences?

Prince has often stated that the Album format is essentially dead. That we need to think outside of that - sort of a pick and choose your own experience affair.

I was reading the current issue of Revolver magazine where Trent Reznor states that he still records in "LP" mode with a definate side A and side B in mind. I strongly perfer this type of thinking becuase music to me is like watching a movie. You want an experience. you want a narrative that brings you through it as a cohesive whole from beginning to end. Me think.

Also, do you guys think that Prince's recording style in any way shape or form, is and indication of latent homosexual tendencies?
