I've always said I wanted "Let's Go Crazy" played because it's a song about "The Afterworld". Another reason is because it's very uptempo and the lyrics are appropriate for a funeral. I never could understand why people always play boring, depressing slow songs at a funeral because the person that passed is going to a better place (hopefully). Actually, a funeral should be a celebration.

I want to have 'My Redeemer Lives' 'Already Alright' and 'This Battle is Not Yours' played at mine. Prince songs would be:

Adore
I wish u Heaven
She's always in my hair * this list would drive all but two people at my funeral nuts*

I thank God for 2day though.
Shake....shake, shake, shake.

1st choice:

Sometimes It Snows In April (Tracy wasn't the only that died dammit)
Condition of the Heart (probably be there because of my heart)
Power Fantastic (I'd want God's power to surround me when I'm up there or here)

2nd choice:

For You (Funerals are only met for the living...what would I know then)
The Ladder (Everyone should know that we all are looking for salvation..esp. when close to death)
I Wish U Heaven (Heaven is where I'd want to be)

3rd choice:

Erotic City (Because the freak in me wants to live on)
Strawberry Love (The gayest song I know---yeah, I know it's Mazarati)
Something In The Water (Because Life doesn't compute most of the time)

Yes, it's going to be a very sad funeral.

* "Moonbeam Levels" would do just fine.
* "Power Fantastic" is a favorite of mine, but probably inappropriate.
* "Everywhere" would be uplifting.

Don't know about picking just three, but they better be all bootlegs to underline the fact that I was a collector during my lifetime! How about some really scruffy-quality versions of "Big Tall Wall", "Tick, Tick, Bang!" and "Turn It Up"?
