Question about The Time

I read where the first album any members of The Time actually played a note
was Ice Cream Castles. Can anyone verify this information? I knew that Prince
played a lot on those first two records, but all of it?

That's a great link, thanks. Prince should go back to using
that home studio, 'cause that's a great sound he had. Lisa

the lyrics to "the stick" make much more sense coming from a female perspective.

A woman saying come on work the stick makes more sense than a man saying it ?
(LOL)

You were being hated on for suggesting that W&L were a little more important than the Time.

Think about it. "every time we make love you run out of gas" "take a vacation I don't care, cuz I can get some stimulation anywhere" that all sounds a woman talking about how her man cums too early. And "work the stick" could be in reference to a dildo or other pleasure device which works better than her man. I'm gonna stop now lol
