This isn't too bad a question. I think that Crystal Ball works well as a whole CD set, but not so well in separate parts (except for The Truth, of course). None of the first three discs are satisfying enough to be called complete Prince albums in their own right (Especially as I'm pretty sure that the three discs could easily fit onto two)
But then, this makes me wonder how NPGMC members will feel at the end of Year 2 once we've (hopefully) received all the CDs that we're meant to get. It seems that ONA is a bit short, but what if Xenophobia is 70 mins long, The Best of 0)+> is a double CD and Last December turns out to be a live concert recording from sometime in 2002? (Not so unrealistic, why is it named after a song that has already been released?)
Okay, I'm just making suggestions (and hoping), but come February 2003, if I had all those recordings in my hands, I'd be quite impressed with what my $100 (£70.02) had bought me, even though right now, I feel a little dismayed that disc one is only 35 mins long.

happy
if each cd had been packaged that would make a definite improvement. the presentation of crystal ball in the round box with no packaging left it lacking. each cd in a jewel case with pics, lyrics, etc. would be a vast improvement on the crystal ball project.

I love Crystal Ball, oof my all time favs, but I HATE that slotted round container it came in. Scratches the hell out of the discs and doesn't fit anywhere on my shelf. I have ot admit, it looked cool.

I would not be happy.

I paid $29.95 for it when it came out... NEWFUNK had apparently lost the post-it note where my order had been taken 12 months prior.

CB--even with the Truth--is not worth $100.

Although I've only heard half of it, ONA is likely comparable to the Truth IMHO.

However, I hope and expect the remaining CDs this year to be better than the songs on CB--partially because I am expecting a "World" aftershow CD as a bonus!
